THE TITHING LIE

So now It's time to write about the tithing lie, and yes many preachers will really love me for this one, but hopefully maybe they will see money and GOD don't mix. Yes I already hear the preachers say, but its in the bible, just read Malachi 3:8, and all I have to say to this is go to the Tithe Is Abolished, and the Tithe Is Illegal in the links below. This will be a very short article, only because I can't show you more than the other writings and tape, but hopefully to get you interested. Here are some reasons why we shouldn't tithe.

First reason is only the Levites could receive the tithe. Not other tribes, not JESUS, not the disciples, not Paul, not the first, second, third, or fourth century, etc, etc, church system could receive the tithe, nor today can anyone receive the tithe without it being a sin. ONLY THE LEVITES CAN RECEIVE THE TITHE! There are no Levites among us to accept the tithe. No temple to take the sacrifices to. Oh yes, money wasn't what was tithed; try food. They love to quote (Malachi 3:8, Will a man rob GOD? Yet you have robbed ME! But you say, in what way have we robbed YOU? In tithes and offerings.) If you go on down tell me what the tithes and offerings were. (Malachi 3:10, Bring in all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be FOOD in MY house, and try ME now in this, says the LORD of hosts, If I will not open for you the windows of heaven, and pour out for you such blessing, that there will not be room enough to receive it.) No money mentioned here.

I do believe we should give. But I heard, not from one preacher but many, we should only give the tithe to the church. Convenient for the church, but I'm not so sure for the poor, and needy. Read the article's and listen to the tape.

Second reason off the top of my head is why would anyone want to tithe to build bigger churches and their parking lots? If I read my bible right its about feeding and clothing the poor. I bet you never heard a Paul or any apostles or disciples talk about bigger and better donkeys, chariots, or church buildings for that matter, but yet on Christian T.V. shows and faith ministries we hear them say give your tithes and you will have what we have. Oh how foolish! Look at the poor in the audiences while the speakers wear nice clothes and big diamond rings. It's so sad to me to see the so called leaders feel they should have better than the flock, when the flock are is as much entitled to the money as any of the leaders.

Third reason is, they try to separate the tithe and the law, but it was a one package deal. Read about the law in the links below. You must keep the whole law or you blew it. Some of us are lucky our parents didn't keep the whole law like (DEUT. 21:18-21, "If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voie of his father or the voice of his mother, and who, when they have chastened him, will not heed them, then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city, to the gate of the city. And they shall say to the elders of his city, 'This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious; he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard'. Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones; so you shall put away the evil from among you, and all Israel shall hear and fear.) I'm so glad we're not under those laws now, because I would be dead if we were. The articles and tape will show you much more about the law and tithes.

A fourth reason is, we never get a break in our tithing as the bible teaches, even if it was legal. (And the LORD spoke to Moses on mount Sinai, saying, "Speak unto the children of Israel, and say to them: 'When you come into the land which I give you, then the land shall keep a sabbath to the LORD. Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather its fruit; but in the seventh year there shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath to the LORD. You shall neither sow your field or prune your vineyard. What grows of its own accord of your harvest you shall not reap, nor gather the grapes of your unattended vine, for it is a year of rest for the land. And the sabbath produce of the land shall be food for you: for you and your male and female servants, your hired man, and the stranger who dwells with you, for your livestock, and the beasts that are in your land--all its produce shall be for food. Lev. 25:1-7). Not to mention we have pastors out there adding on a second, and third tithe. Not even the Jewish Rabbis take a tithe at all, so what does that tell you? They know they can't because its not legal; no temple and no Levites to take the tithe. Still, think if you were under the law, the seventh year should be all yours, not the churches.

The fifth reason is the church teaches that you should pay the first tenth, but really the bible teaches the LAST tenth is God's, not the first. Poor people didn't even have to tithe, only the ones who had land and animals, and they had to have at least 10 of beasts to have to tithe. This could go on, and on, but please read the articles and hear the tapes on this subject. You are being fleeced, and not only fleeced, but in some cases you are giving to sexual predators, as you are responsible where you send your money. When five million dollars goes to hide a sexual act for just one priest, can you imagine how much is being payed out to hide the others sins?

Enough said, I just think we need to look where our money goes for GOD'S work.
