If they don't, that's because you're not preaching a message SO WIDE and SO BROAD that it would finally engulf ALL CREATION as Paul did.Paul was constantly being accused of saying "let's do evil that good will come." So folks were always misunderstanding his message so that they retorted to him, "Paul, so this means I can sin ALL I WANT TO so that grace will abound all the more, doesn't it?"
Check out Romans 5:12-20 all the way down to Romans 6:1 and you'll see--graphically--what I'm saying.
If Paul were clearly teaching here that only a relative few would ever be saved then the question would have been--"How much sin can I get away with and still wind up among the few that go to heaven? Or--
"How much walking in the Spirit daily is ENOUGH so that my character isn't ruined so that I wind up denying the Lord and trampled run by a camel shortly afterward--and wind up with the majority of humanity in HELL?"
These questions are not the ones Paul was ever asked, for he did not preach the salvation of only an "elect few." Also read and re-read Romans 11--just for starters!
