ACCORDING TO CALVINISM:
Psalm 100 actually says, "Make a joyful noise, all the
elect, for we are His people and the sheep of His pasture."
And Psalm 22:27 says, "All the elect from the ends of
the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord and a few members from all
the families of the gentiles shall worship before You..."
And Eph. 3:14 actually says, "For this cause I bow my
knees before the
Father from whom, not 'every family', but an elect few
from a fair number of families in heaven and earth are named..."
And Ephesians 4:10 actually tells us "He (Christ) who
descended...
also ascended far above the heavens that He might fill,
not 'all things', but only the elect."
And Paul tells us, according to John Calvin, in Romans
11:32 "God
has committed, not all, but only the elect to disobedience,
that He
should have mercy on only the elect."
Hence we are to understand Romans 11:36 as saying "For
from Him and through Him and to Him are NOT all things, but only the
elect." That is because he also tells us in Romans 14:9
that it is "for this end that Christ lived and died and
rose again, that
he should be Lord of both the dead elect and the living
elect."
Moreover in Heb.1:2 we learn that "In these last days
God has spoken to us through His Son, whom He has appointed as heir, not
of all things, but of only the elect."
For Revelation 4:11 we learn that "Only the elect, not
'all things', were created for His pleasure" (therefore He is worthy of
all power, honor and praise?)
