#####, some of the most important
choices in your life were made by others...

.....which had a profound effect on your very own ability to reason. For example, did you choose to enter this world under the sentence of death being forced to sin? No. Adam did that for you.

"Through ONE MAN'S offense judgment came to ALL MANKIND, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in JUSTIFICATION OF LIFE." Rom. 5:18

See? YOU had no choice either way.

Again:

"For God has committed them ALL to disobedience that He might have mercy on all." Rom. 11:32

Again YOU and I are eliminated from the decision whether to be obedient or disobedient.

And again:

"For creation (of which you are a part) was subjected to futility NOT WILLINGLY, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be DELIVERED from its bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God."
Rom. 8:20, 21

Where we live, who are parents are, what time period we were born in, whether we were aborted or not, when we die, what country we are born in all are things outside of our control and they OBVIOUSLY have an effect on the chances of hearing the gospel and from that being "born from above."

So obviously total "free will" is out of the question. Yes, we can make choices, but our choices have been limited greatly regarding the possibility of losing our life eternally. God is MUCH to responsible, wise, and loving to have created a situation in which most of his created beings are forever either endlessly tortured or eternally separated from Him.

The absolute Sovereignty of God is very well established Scripturally. Perhaps you would care to look at some of the more prominent sovereignty of God scriptures. Obviously, if God reserves the right for Himself to be sovereign over AALLL of His creation, then man is also subjected to His sovereignty thus nullifying the mythical "free will" of man.

Thus says the Lord God to these bones, "Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life." Ezek. 37:5 NASB
