#####,The half gospel you keep hyping (while hiding from your new converts the "hell" you say you believe in) does leave those who *actually* believe it with no certainty of identity. For example--Rocky, according to your gospel you can die in a backslidden state and be lost forever. So that means your trust has to be in your own ability to keep having faith. How so? If *you* stop trusting in your ability to keep "exercising" your faith, the Lord will stop saving you, according to the glad tidings you preach. So #####, can you say for *certain* that you will living as God's son in eternity instead of a son of everlasting evil and darkness? If not, then you have no certainty of whose you are, and you have no idea of WHO you are. So if you THINK you're "certain" of where you'll spend eternity then that means that you either--
(1) believe in the restoration of all things
(2) believe in once-saved-always-saved
(3) or you gain your certainty from a false confidence in your own ability to keep trusting. The Spirit and the Word agree, bro. If the word of God gives no--*unconditional*--assurance that you will be saved, you can be sure that the Holy Spirit will not give you an "inner witness" that contradicts His written word. So any assurance you would testify to would either come from a deceiving spirit or from having foolish confidence in your own ability.
I mean--if--your half-gospel is indeed true.
It is just that simple.
Yours with love and prayers,
Charlie
