.....to get a traffic ticket? Or you planned
to go off high-calorie foods or msg or cigarettes or chocolate or booze
or white sugar or carbonated drinks and wound up blowing it? When is the
last time you started an excercise program and bailed out after a few days?
Or you made up your mind to do something--or NOT ever to do something again--and
yet it was only a short time before you made a fool and liar out of yourself
by doing the exact opposite of what you had planned? My point? None of
us KNOW what we will or will not do. We may have good intentions at times,
but how consistantly do we in fact carry them out? It is sad, but the "good
news" of Christ that is too often proclaimed is--"You can count on God,
but only if He can count on you!" Yeah, these glad tidings (?) are all
covered over in the beginning with a lot of "unconditional love" and grace
whipped cream. That's what's so darn deceptive about them. At the outset,
folks will tell you, "All you have to do is trust Jesus!" But after you
bite the bait and join their new converts class you begin to learn all
of the conditions you must meet in order to benefit from God's "unconditional
love" and "make it to heaven." Are you sick and tired of all the religious
double-talk? Are you looking for a Love that NEVER fails--even if YOU fail
miserably? Maybe you're already burned out from trying to jump through
all of popular religion's hoops. If so, I've got ASTONISHING good news
for you that will change your life. (And no! I don't want your $$$ either.
If you want to give anything, find some homeless people in your community
and be a blessing to them.)

Assurance in Jesus Christ" for starters. The key to being set free from
mind-binding bondages is a love affair with your Creator. And that love
affair WILL happen when it comes home to your weary heart that He loves
you with unconditional--commitment.
