But the question is, "predestined" for what? Heaven? Or Co-heirs of the heathen.......

.......with Christ? I can load you up with Scirpture next go-around if you want, "Meanie" (betcha i can be meaner than you can!:-) But all goofing around aside, what are the "called out" chosen, predestined, and called out for? To be the only ones who are ever to be saved, or to be "a kind of firstfruits" of our Lord's world harvest? In the old Testament the firstfruits of the harvest, when brought and offered to the Lord--sanctified--the whole (though yet unripe) harvest standing out still growing in the field. Jesus said the field is the WORLD.

And we are also called the "called out of the firstborn." And again, the Old Testament reveals that the firstborn so was given the "double portion" inheritance, not so he could horde it to himself and "go to heaven" to the exclusion of all his later born brothers and sisters. He was designated the "priest" and "kinsman redeemer" of the household. Among his duties he was to redeem a lost inheritance in the family and to rescue and ransom another famly member that had been taken captive by foreigners--asking NO questions. So bro, are we a part of the called out of the FIRSTborn that with CHrist the "Firstborn" of "every creature" will conficate satan's booty and set the captives (heathen) free? Will we with Christ "inherit the heathen"? Or have we been "called out" to "go to heaven" and play harps while all of the Latterborn/latter-fruits of our Lord's inheritance burns in an endless hell? Just food for thought...
