You negate the power and influence

: And if you think I'm exaggerating in the above, nope, I'm not.

Charlie:
The point is that your second to last sentence above ignores the fact of the RULERS--the powers of the air that Paul mentions in Eph. 5 that are NOT human. Satan has taken people captive to do his will--these people are born "dead in trespasses and sins" so there is none righteous, no not one. NO ONE seeks for God, and no one comes to Him unless His Spirit draws them.

But your ideology that salvation is a gamble that most will lose IN THIS LIFETIME makes man his own savior--bottom line. So here we have the foundation for legalism and performance-based religiosity. You have absoutely NO basis in your doctrine for distinquishing between obedience and legalism. If what you preach is true (i.e. that few *ever will* find the narrow way)--one *CANNOT* be too careful.

If you ACTUALLY believe your glad tidings, then watch out for those little foxes (small daily choices) bro!

Salvation is nearly an unwinnable gamble and ETERNITY IS L-O-N-G.
