Which inspires greater hope in your heart: (1) A heavenly Father who will give up on you--One that already knows that He's going to fail to save you because your failure in this lifetime is too great for him to deal with? (2) Or one who is always searching to find ways to deliver you from the horror of satanic deception that would leave you without love and meaning forever? If there is not solid assurance for everyone of God's committed love, then there can be no solid assurance for--anyone.Not unless that one gains his solid (?) assurance from confidence in his own innate virtue, wisdom and will power...
God did not force Himself on me in such a way as to "violate" my free will. My will was bound because my mind was bound to the lie of conditional love. The blessed "invasion" by His loving Presence of my despair-ridden heart overnight on April 30, 1996--freed--my will to love and to hope.
Wills bound by the satanic lies are not free ones. Just some thoughts to ponder...
